FLEET
TITHE APPORTIONMENT
DRO REF: T/FLE

Notes:

This is a transcript of the entries in an original tithe apportionment. In the original the entries are arranged alphabetically by the surname of the landowner. In this transcript the entries have been rearranged into numerical order though the layout follows the headings in the original document. All the information in the original has been transcribed, retaining all spellings as in the original. Surnames have been typed in block capitals to make it easier to search for this information and the order of the names is Christian name followed by surname where as in the original the surname is generally recorded first.

The original apportionments are often awkward to use and it is hoped that this transcript will be used in place of the original. This work has been done by a volunteer and the Record Office would like to thank all those who gave so freely of their own time to assist us with transcription of the archives held here.
