way to look at changes that have taken place
along the Dorset
coast over the past two hundred years. The Viewer
allows you to compare and contrast maps from different
periods of time simultaneously on your computer
screen. See how the present-day landscape has evolved
through the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. The
maps, together with images from the database collection,
allow you to build up a vivid picture of the Dorset
